Ireland - I'm so LUCKY!

In June I traveled to Ireland with our friends, the S. family. It was a long trip there, but I stayed
for two weeks! Here I am with R., E., and C. at the airport. It was a fascinating trip with landscape we just can't see in Utah and so much history! Thanks for taking me along!

This is where I stayed with the S. family in Trim. Thanks for hanging out with me C.!

Can you find me in the beautiful gardens!

E. and I are in the train station headed to Blarney Castle. It was built over 600 years ago! You can find out more historical information at this website.

This is Kylemore Abbey which is in western Ireland at Connemara. It was built in 1867 and has been a vacation home, a convent, an international boarding school, and is still owned and operated by Benedictine nuns today. See their website for more amazing photos and historical information.

I definitely had the luck of the Irish with me to see so many beautiful new places. Learn more about Ireland by following the links in this post. I'm planning another trip next week! See the maps for a clue to where I'm going. Bon voyage!

Missouri and Illinois

I traveled to the Midwest when the T. family went to St. Louis for First Lego League. It was a world celebration of teams of youth who have been learning to build and program robots. After the celebration in St. Louis, we traveled nearby to learn about American history. Can you find Missouri and Illinois on the U.S. map?
Under the famous St. Louis arch with A. and M! St. Louis is a fun city with LOTS to do. We all had a great time!
Here I am with M. and her friend at the LDS Nauvoo Temple. It's right on the Mississippi River. I LOVED the red tulips!
I am with M., A., T. and their dad, S. at Abraham Lincoln's home in Springfield, Illinois. He was the 16th president of the United States during the Civil War. He helped keep the United States united. He is one of my favorite presidents!

Here I am at Ulysses S. Grant's farm home in St. Louis Missouri. He was the general for the Union army in the Civil War and later became the 18th president of the United States. Thanks to the T. family for a great trip learning about U.S. history!

Nampa, Idaho, USA

In August of 2010 I visited M's cousins in Nampa, Idaho. They took me to Silver City in the good old American West! I narrowly missed getting trampled by bulls. Thanks L. and M. for a great trip to a beautiful place!
